the one who should be sleeping

31 08 2008
I should be sleeping right now, considering that I only got 2 hours of sleep this morning. Haha. Oh well. But I did also took a nap just this afternoon from 1:30 to 4:30 I think. So that’s plus 3 hours, and makes my total number of sleeps for the past two days to be 5 hours. Haha. Yeah!  A lot of events took place these past few days so I wasn’t able to dedicate what’s left of my time to blogging. Haha. But since tomorrow is a Monday, and ofcourse now, Mondays for UP students is a rest day, I guess it wouldn’t hurt if I blog before I go to sleep right?

Hmmmmmm… Let’s see.

Well Friday was like hell. I went to Pila to get my left license only to find out that they have actually lost it.

Crap. And they blamed me for losing it. They said that I should’ve taken my license long ago. They were suggesting me to cut class just to get my student driver’s license. Great. No wonder people don’t get as far as they want to go. x_X.

But I didn’t really waste my trip since I was able to attend the lecture and get my affidavit (is it the right spelling) stating that I did lose my license. Oh well. Haha. x_X.

Later that night, I went to dinner with Ms. Drill Night. Haha. Because we actually had free dinner sponsored by our ROTC class officers since we did win. Haha. Why does food always taste better when it’s free?

Afterwhich, I went straight to C-Park to attend our batch practice in preparation for our batch presentation. To be honest, we weren’t really in the mood to practice. Everyone was so tired that it seemed as though tension was all over the place. Haha. Not to mention the sense of pressure since the presentation would be the next day. Yeah! But, things turned out pretty well and we were able to go home before 11:00 pm. Haha.

Our recent training day in ROTC is quite brutal (relatively) compared to the other training days. We were crawling here and there, with no shade, at about 10:30 am to 11:30 am, rushing for our “lives” holding our rifles, and with the sun up with her shining glory and land we were crawling on heating up like an oven toaster. Crap. Haha. It was fun at first, but when it lasted a little longer, it wasn’t fun at all. Haha. We all had bruises in our elbows – some bleeding, some were just plain skin “peelings”. Nice term isn’t it?

Then induction ball came. Haha. We were supposed to wear barongs so I rented one earlier. It was a nice

event, so much like the prom – seeing the girls turning into ladies with their gowns and the boys, from shirts and shorts to slacks and barongs. Haha. It started kinda late though, thereby delaying the program and food as well. Haha. The event ended around 12:00 if I’m not mistaken, and afterwhich people went on to different paths – some left, some went swimming (since it is a resort after all), some drank, some slept, and some just watched people do what they are actually doing. Haha.

Then we left the resort around 3:30am and went back to our place. Haha. Mind you, this was a spontaneous act. Haha. Not really my plan but I guess my mind wasn’t thinking straight so I agreed. Good thing that my parents didn’t disagree or anything. The only problem was when it came down to sleeping – we had to pack 4 of ourselves in a double-sized bed. Too bad the other two slept in the floor. Sorry guys. But I think they had more sleep than we did. Haha.

We woke up at around 7am (considering we slept at around 4:30am) and played around with the PSP. Haha.

We took turns since we only have one. And before they left the house, we indulged ourselves with the webcam of the laptop so as not to waste the “experience”. Haha. Yeah! (see my multiply for our pictures!)

Oh well. I guess that’s basically it. Nothing much really. Just an ordinary week. x_X.

Time after time, I tell myself that I’m so lucky to be loved by you
